Ali began her career in NYC where she received her formal training and education at the New York School of Interior Design. There she fell in love with the history of architecture and the freedom of modern design inspiring her love of mixing the old with the new.
After design school, she began raising a family in Westchester County. It is there that she spent most of her 12 years as Co-Owner and Designer of Lake + Hill Interiors honing her skills and expertise.
At the height of the covid relocation chaos, she and her husband moved to Fairfield, CT with their three young girls and she launched Ali Vanderpool Design in 2023. AVD looks to create homes with warmth, depth and a sense of serenity. Careful consideration goes into every detail from the space planning to the finishing touches ensuring that each room is layered with function and beauty.
